1) LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: RECYCLING PROCESSING SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE CONSORTIUM

 

The Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District is inviting bids for Recycling Processing Services on behalf of the Consortium consisting of the communities of City of Beachwood, Village of Highland Hills, City of Independence, City of Lyndhurst, Village of Moreland Hills, City of Pepper Pike, City of Solon, City of University Heights, Village of Woodmere. Bid Documents can be obtained from the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District at (216) 443-3749 or www.CuyahogaRecycles.org.

 

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held in person at the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District, 4750 East 131 Street, Garfield Heights, OH 44105 on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. 

 

Bids will be received at the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District, 4750 East 131 Street, Garfield Heights OH 44105 until 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 28, 2024. Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time. Bidders must submit one (1) original, one (1) duplicate copy, and one (1) electronic copy of their Bid in one sealed envelope marked “RECYCLING BID.” Bids will be valid for 180 days after the Bid opening date.

 

Each Bid must contain all Bid Forms and be accompanied by separate Bid Bonds payable to each Consortium Community in the amount of $2,000 as security that, if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into with each community in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Form of Contract contained in the Bid Documents. The Bid Bonds will be returned when Contracts have been executed by the Successful Bidder, or when any or all Bids are rejected. The Consortium reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and waive any non-conformities or irregularities contained therein.
