Daily Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM; closed on holidays  |  Solid Waste District HQ, 4750 East 131 Street, Garfield Heights

The Solid Waste District recycles broken, burned-out light strings, power strips, and power cords year-round. Collected items are donated to the seasonal Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Lights for Lions program. Artificial trees, solar lights, and outdoor spotlights are not accepted. See details.

The Solid Waste District's vestibule is open seasonally from March - October on a Saturday once a month for special recycling drop-offs and compost bin sales.  See details.

A TV recycling event will also take place this Second Saturday.

During Second Saturday, bring your old, unwanted, working or non-working television to a special recycling event. Any television can be recycled during the event. A small fee may be charged, payables by cash or check only. See details.
