In March, the Solid Waste District will host its second Reduce Reuse Repair Fair. The event will highlight waste reduction activities and businesses dedicated to repairing personal goods, reducing the amount of waste we create, and changing the mindset of simply throwing things away.

At an annual event, the Solid Waste District highlights waste reduction efforts in Cuyahoga County by featuring individuals and businesses that reuse materials and repair goods. 


Stop by an upcoming Reduce Reuse Repair Fair to learn about plarn, materials exchange events, refinishing furniture, making a home repair, fixing a bicycle, extending the life of your personal electronics, and choosing durable goods that last.

Fix It CLE Repair Workshop


Mend. Sew. Build.


A Fix It CLE Workshop will also be conducted during the Reduce Reuse Repair Fair. Attendees will learn to fix everyday objects with the help of experienced coaches, helping to reduce waste and save money. The workshop is designed for people to bring an item and learn how to repair it.


Registration is required for people requesting help with repairs, and coaches are needed for upcoming workshops. Contact us for more details.
