Dispose of School Supplies Right

Do not place unwanted school supplies - such as pens, pencils, rulers, binders, or markers - in recycling.

Disassembled notebooks, books, and loose-leaf paper can be recycled curbside or at a mixed paper drop-off. See details.

Donate

School supplies can be donated to a local community service organization, church, school, preschool, daycare, or summer camp that can use the items to support their work or will be distributed to teachers and students in need.

See the Donation Locations list below for local donation opportunities.

Recycle

Mail-back recycling programs are available for crayons. See The Crayon Initiative and The National Crayon Recycle Program

Mail-back recycling programs are also available for markers. See Crayola ColorCycle
