Dispose of Boats Right

Boats in usable condition can be donated to a community service or nonprofit organization that will sell or auction the vessel to raise funds and support their organizational mission. For local donation opportunities, see the list at the bottom of this page.

Boats that are no longer in working condition should be disposed at a landfill. Prior to disposal, boats should be drained of fluids and batteries removed. Call ahead to confirm operating hours, details and size specifications. Facility operations are subject to change.
