Community organizations, including the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op, accept donations of bicycles and any bike-related items.
The Ohio City Bicycle Co-op accepts donations of bicycles and bike-related items, including biking equipment, tools, clip-in pedals, shoes, and good seats. The co-op is located in Cleveland on the West Bank of the Flats. If you want to donate one or more bicycles to the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op, please send a photo of the bicycle(s) in advance to [email protected]. Upcycle Bikes, a for-profit business at 10001 Lorain Avenue in Cleveland, accepts bicycles. Call (216) 334-2453 or visit their website. Upcycle Bikes does not provide donation receipts.
If a bicycle is beyond reuse or repair, it can be placed in the regular trash. Contact your city service department about bulky waste collection in your community.
