Usable arts and craft supplies can be donated to a local organization, day care or summer camp that can use the items to support their work.
Do not place arts and crafts supplies - such as canvas, paint brushes, pens, pencils, markers, or magnets - in curbside recycling.

Usable arts and crafts supplies can be donated to a local community service organization, church, school, theater group, preschool, daycare, or summer camp that can use the items to support its work.
If you cannot find a reuse for certain arts and crafts supplies, including magnets, the items should be placed in the regular trash for disposal.

Recycle
Drop off unwanted crayons, colored pencils, pens, markers, and highlighters at any Staples store. As part of the Staples Writing Tools Recycling Program, you can drop off your used or unwanted crayons at any Staples Store location across the United States. Staples will ship them to The Crayon Initiative at no cost to you.
