Guidance for Multi-Family Housing
Apartment buildings are commercial properties. Generally, municipalities do not provide curbside recycling services to commercial properties including apartment buildings and other multi-family housing units. The responsibility of setting up a recycling program typically rests with property managers, property owners or the boards of condominium and homeowners associations.
We are pleased to present our publication for multi-family housing: Apartments & Condominiums: A Guide to Recycling and Composting for Multi-Family Housing (download v2. 10/2023)
Cuyahoga County Business Recycling Directory and Ohio Materials Marketplace
Because Cuyahoga County has a highly developed recycling and composting infrastructure, businesses can recycle more and landfill less than any other location in Ohio. Doing so will reduce your company's waste disposal costs -- proving that what's good for business can also be good for our environment.
We connect businesses and organizations with diversion opportunities and waste solutions. Learn more about the Solid Waste District's Recycling Directory for Business & Industry and the Ohio Materials Marketplace.
