Each year, the District documents the progress of Cuyahoga County communities and residents in reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills.

Our county leads Ohio when it comes to waste reduction, recycling and composting. Every year, we surpass Ohio's 25% recycling goal by reducing our residential waste. The more we recycle, the more money we save, the more jobs we create and the more natural resources and energy we conserve for future generations.
